Left Mirror Inoperative

  1. Connect a jumper wire between 10-pin connector terminal No. 1 (Yellow/Black wire) and terminal No. 7 (Blue/Green wire). See Figure. Connect jumper wire between ground and 10-pin connector terminal No. 4 (Blue/White wire) or terminal No. 9 (Blue/Orange wire). Turn ignition on. Left mirror should tilt down (terminal No. 4) or swing left (terminal No. 9). If mirror does not tilt down or swing left, check for open in Blue/White wire or Blue/Orange wire. If wire is okay, go to next step.
  2. Check left mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror neither tilts down or swings left, repair open in Blue/Green wire. If mirror tilts down and swings left, check power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS.
