Retrieving Trouble Codes

  1. Connect SCS Service Connector (07PAZ-0010100) to 2-pin service check connector located under glove box. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to ON position (without starting engine). ABS indicator light should come on for a 2-second bulb check. Record blinking ABS indicator light sequence. See Figure .
  2. After ignition is turned on, ABS indicator light will turn on for 2 seconds, then pause for 2 seconds before blinking first DTC. First code number indicates main code and second code number indicates sub code. Three DTCs can be stored at once. To recheck sequence, cycle ignition off and then on again. After DTCs have been retrieved, conduct appropriate test procedures. If light does not flash DTC(s), see ABS INDICATOR LIGHT REMAINS ON  , BUT DOES NOT FLASH TROUBLE CODES.
