Ignition Coil Test

Turn ignition off. Measure primary winding resistance between ignition coil connector terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be .9-1.1 ohms at 77°F (25°C). Replace coil if resistance is not within specification. Resistance specification for secondary winding is not available.
