Right Mirror Inoperative

  1. Connect a jumper wire between power mirror switch connector terminal "I" (Black/Yellow wire) and terminal "F" (Blue/White wire). See Fig 1 . Connect a jumper wire between terminal "E" (Yellow/White wire) and ground. Right mirror should tilt down. If mirror does not tilt down, check for open in Yellow/White wire. If wire is okay, go to next step.
  2. Move jumper wire from terminal "E" (Yellow/White wire) to terminal "C" (Blue/Black wire). Right mirror should swing left. If mirror does not swing left, check for open in Blue/Black wire. If wire is okay, check right mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror does not tilt down and does not swing left, check for open in Blue/White wire. If mirror operates properly, check power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS.
