3.2TL & 3.5RL

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 1998 Acura Integra, 1998 Acura 3.5RL, 1998 Acura 3.2TL, 1998 Acura 3.0CL, and 1998 Acura 2.5TL. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Backprobing, measure voltage between PCM 26-pin connector terminal No. 26 (Brown/Black wire) and PCM 12-pin connector terminal No. 6 (Blue/Red wire) with ignition switch in the START position. See Figure. If battery voltage is present, starter signal is okay. If battery voltage is not present, inspect STARTER SIGNAL fuse No. 9 (7.5-amp) on 3.2TL or fuse No. 14 (7.5-amp) on 3.5RL. If fuse is okay, repair open in Blue/Red wire between PCM 12-pin connector and fuse. If fuse is blown, repair short in Blue/Red wire between PCM 12-pin connector and fuse or PGM-FI main relay. Replace fuse.
