Shift Control Cable

  1. Loosen transmission control rod lock nut at end of selector lever. Ensure transmission control lever is in Neutral. Select "N" position with gear selector lever. See Fig 1
  2. Push gear selector lever forward so it is against the forward edge of the neutral detent. Hold gear selector lever in this position. Tighten control rod and ensure selector operates smoothly through all indicated positions. Readjust if necessary.
