Code 13 - Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor

NOTE: Barometric sensor is built into ECM. Circuit testing is not required.
  1. Turn ignition off. Remove ACG fuse (No. 15, 7.5-amp) from underdash fuse box for 10 seconds to reset ECM. Retrieve codes. If Code 13 does not appear, problem is intermittent. Inspect for poor connections at ECM connector. Test-drive vehicle and check again.
  2. On models without TCS, go to step 4). On models with TCS, if Code 13 still exists, turn ignition off. Attach ECM Test Harness (07LAJ-PT3010A ) to main wiring harness, leaving ECM disconnected. See Figure . Unplug 26-pin connector from the TCS control unit.
  3. Test for continuity between D5 and body ground. If continuity exists, repair shorted Orange/Red wire between ECM connector terminal D5 and TCS control unit. If continuity does not exist, install known good TCS control unit, then retest. If Code 13 does not appear, replace TCS control unit. If Code 13 still exists, temporarily substitute known good ECM, then retest system.
