No MIL
- Turn ignition on. If oil pressure light is on, go to next step. If light is off, inspect fuse No. 13. Replace fuse and repair short as necessary. If fuse No. 13 is okay, repair open circuit in Yellow wire between fuse and instrument cluster.
- Turn ignition off. Connect ECM Test Harness (07LAJ-PT3010A
) between ECM and ECM harness. See Fig 1
. Connect test terminal A13 to ground. Turn ignition on. If MIL is now on, go to next step. If light is off, replace light bulb, or repair open in Blue wire between ECM terminal A13 and instrument cluster.
- Individually measure voltage between ground and test terminals A23 and A24. If voltage is greater than one volt at any terminal, inspect for open in wire between ECM and ground terminal G101 (at intake manifold). See Fig 2
. If voltage is less than one volt at any terminal, temporarily substitute known good ECM, then retest system.
