Removal & Installation

  1. Mark spark plug wires, distributor housing and cylinder head for installation reference. Unplug electrical connectors. Remove hold-down bolts and distributor.
  2. Lubricate and install new "O" ring. See Fig 1. Install distributor, aligning reference marks. Align distributor coupling with slot in camshaft. Connect wiring. Adjust ignition timing.
