Motor Test

CAUTION: Disconnect power from motor immediately when motor stops.
  1. Remove seat. Unplug connnector from slide motor. Remove seat switch from side of seat. Unplug 6-pin connector from switch. Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 7 and ground terminal No. 8. See Fig 1 . Seat should move backward. Reverse battery leads at motor and seat should slide forward.
  2. Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 4 and ground terminal No. 3. See Fig 1 . Seat back should move forward. Reverse battery leads at motor and seat back should move backward (recline). If either motor does not work as described, replace motor(s).
