DTC 17: Vehicle Speed Sensor

If the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) indicates Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 17, a problem may exist in the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) circuit. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . The VSS generates a pulsing signal when the rear wheels turn.
