DTC 10: Intake Air Temperature Sensor

If the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) indicates Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 10, a problem may exist in the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor circuit. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . The IAT Sensor is a temperature dependent resistor (thermistor). The resistance of the thermistor decreases as the intake air temperature increases.
