Idle Speed & Mixture

NOTE: Before setting idle speed, ensure MIL is not/has not been on, ignition timing is correct, spark plugs and air cleaner are okay, and PCV system is operating properly. On models equipped with Daytime Running Lights (DRL), apply parking brake.

Manual Trans. 500-600 750-850 0.1 %
(1) Transaxle in "N" or "P" with IAC valve 2-pin connector disconnected and headlights and rear window defogger on.
(2) Transaxle in "N" or "P" with IAC valve 2-pin connector connected and no accessory loads.
