Power Unit: Kickback

When ABS is functioning, piston moves upward, volume of chamber B increases, and fluid pressure on caliper side is reduced. At the same time, volume of chamber A is reduced and brake fluid is returned to master cylinder. When brake fluid is pushed back to master cylinder, driver can feel the functioning of ABS because brake pedal is kicked back. See Fig 2 .
