Driver's Position Memory Switch Test

Remove driver's door panel. See DRIVER'S DOOR PANEL  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect driver's position memory switch 10-pin connector. Remove switch from door panel. Using an ohmmeter, verify continuity is as specified in DRIVER'S POSITION MEMORY SWITCH CONTINUITY table. See Fig 1 . If continuity is not as specified, replace faulty switch.

MEMO Button
On E & J
Off No Continuity
Position Button 1
On G & J
Off No Continuity
Position Button 2
On F & J
Off No Continuity
Indicator 1 A & C (1)
Indicator 2 A & D (1)
Illumination No Continuity
(1) Indicators 1 and 2 are LEDs. When checking continuity place ohmmeter negative probe at connector terminal "C"
