Constant Vacuum Control (CVC)

Start engine. Verify manifold vacuum is present at CVC valve, located inside control box on firewall. Disconnect CVC vacuum hose at EGR control solenoid. Connect vacuum gauge. If vacuum is not about 8 in. Hg, replace CVC valve.
