No MIL
- Turn ignition on. If oil pressure light is on, go to next step. If light is off, inspect BACK-UP fuse (10-amp) located in underdash fuse box. Replace fuse and repair short as necessary. If BACK-UP fuse is okay, repair open circuit in Yellow wire between fuse and instrument cluster.
- Turn ignition off. Connect ECM Test Harness (07LAJ-PT3010A
) between ECM and ECM connectors. See Fig 1
. Connect test terminal A13 to ground. Turn ignition on. If MIL is now on, go to next step. If light is off, replace light bulb or repair open in Green/Red wire between ECM terminal A13 and instrument cluster. See Fig 1
.
- Individually measure voltage between body ground and test terminals A23 and A24. If more than one volt is present on either terminal, repair open in wire between ECM and ground terminal G101 (located on left side of engine). See Fig 2
. If less than one volt is present on each terminal, replace ECM and retest.
