Activating System

  1. Unplug Red short connector from connector(s) and SRS short connector "A" from cable reel connector (if equipped). On all models, reconnect driver-side air bag connector to cable reel connector.
  2. Install short connectors into their holders. Reinstall lid on steering wheel. Install glove box. Reconnect battery. Turn ignition on. Observe SRS indicator light to verify system is functioning properly. SRS light should come on for about 6 seconds and then go off.
