Component Disassembly & Reassembly: MAINSHAFT: Reassembly

  1. Supporting 2nd gear on steel blocks, install 3rd/4th synchro hub using 40-mm I.D. Driver (07746-0030100), 35-mm Adapter (07746-00330400) and press. Check operation of 3rd/4th synchro hub set.
  2. Install 5th/reverse synchro hub and ball bearing using 40-mm I.D. Driver (07746-0030100), 30-mm Adapter (07746-00330300) and press. See Figure .
