Intake Manifold: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Allow engine to cool. Disconnect negative battery cable. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Carefully remove radiator cap to release system pressure. Drain cooling system. Remove upper and lower radiator hoses. Remove air intake duct and air cleaner assembly.
  2. Disconnect fuel inlet and return hoses. Mark and disconnect vacuum hoses and wire harness connectors as necessary. Remove fuel evaporation canister hose from throttle body.
  3. Remove brake booster and PCV vacuum hoses from intake manifold. Disconnect throttle cable. Remove intake manifold and gasket.
