Removal & Installation (Legend)

Rotate engine clockwise until No. 1 piston is at top dead center. Remove upper timing belt covers. See Fig 1. Remove timing belt from camshaft pulleys. Remove left camshaft pulley. Remove left backing plate. Remove CKP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Check camshaft timing and ignition timing.
