Intake Manifold: Installation

Clean gasket surfaces. Install intake manifold, using new intake manifold gasket. Tighten nuts to specification, using a crisscross pattern in 2-3 stages, beginning with inner nuts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE at the end of this article. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Refill and bleed air from cooling system. See BLEEDING COOLING SYSTEM.
