No CHECK ENGINE Light
- Turn ignition on. If oil pressure light is on, go to next step. If light is off, inspect fuse No "1". Replace fuse and repair short as necessary. If fuse No. "1" is okay, repair open circuit in Yellow wire between fuse and combination meter.
- Turn ignition off. Connect ECU Test Harness (07LAJ-PT3010A
) between ECU and ECU connector. See Fig 1
. Connect test terminal A13 to ground. Turn ignition on. If CHECK ENGINE light is now on, go to next step. If light is off, replace light bulb or repair open in Green/Red wire between ECU terminal A13 and combination meter. See Fig 1
.
- Individually measure voltage between body ground and test terminals A23, A24, A26 and B2. If more than 1.0 volt is present on any terminal, check open in wire between ECU and ground terminal G101. See Fig 2
. If less than 1.0 volt is present on any terminals, substitute a known good ECU. If problem goes away, replace original ECU.
