Specifications & Procedures: Inspection: RUNOUT

Jack up the car and raise the wheels off the ground. Place the dial gauge on each front and rear wheel rim, turn the wheel slowly by hand, and check the front/rear wheel runout. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .

Turn the wheel slowly by hand and check for excessive axial and radial runout.
