DTC 6: TW Sensor

If self-diagnosis Check Engine light indicates code 6, a problem may exist in the Coolant Temperature (TW) Sensor circuit. The TW sensor is a temperature dependent resistor (thermistor). The resistance of the thermistor decreases as the coolant temperature increases. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 .
