Motor Test

  1. Remove the door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Disconnect the 4-P connector from the driver's motor.
    3. CAUTION: When a motor stops running, disconnected battery terminal immediately.
  3. Test motor operation by connecting battery voltage to the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals. See Fig 1 . Test the motor in each direction, by switching the leads from the battery.
  4. If the motor does not run, replace it.
