Retractor Motor

  1. Remove the retractor motor. See RETRACTOR MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Test motor operation by connecting battery positive wire to the "A" terminal and negative to the "D" terminal. The motor should run continuously. See Fig 1 .
  3. If the motor fails to run smoothly, replace it.
  4. Disconnect the power supply and check for continuity between terminals while turning knob clockwise. See Fig 2 .
