Gear Position Switch

  1. Remove the console, then disconnect the 12-pin and 2-pin connectors from the A/T gear position switch.
  2. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table. Move the lever back and forth at each switch position without touching the push button, and check for continuity within the range of free play. If there is no continuity within the range of free play, adjust the position of the switch. See Fig 1 .
