Throttle Angle Sensor

Throttle angle sensor should input a .5-volt reference signal to PGM-FI/AT ECU at closed throttle and approximately 4.5-volt signal at full throttle. Voltage should change smoothly as throttle valve is opened and closed. If voltage is not correct, check throttle angle sensor wiring circuit. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .

NOTE: If problem in throttle angle sensor exists, throttle angle sensor may set Fault Code No. 7 in PGM-FI ECU. See the appropriate TESTS W/CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
