Removal & Installation

Rotate engine clockwise until No. 1 piston is at top dead center. Remove upper timing belt covers. See Fig 1. Remove timing belt from camshaft pulleys. Remove left camshaft pulley. Remove left backing plate. Remove CRANK/CYL sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
