Fuel Rails & Injectors: Removal

  1. Relieve fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . On Legend and Vigor, remove engine harness cover(s). On Legend, See Fig 1. On all models, unplug injector electrical connectors. Place a rag over pressure regulator fuel return hose.
  2. Disconnect vacuum hose and fuel return hose from pressure regulator. Disconnect fuel line from fuel rail. Remove fuel rail retaining nuts and fuel rail. Remove injectors from intake manifold.
