Valve Guide Inspection

Measure valve guide clearance using a dial indicator placed on valve head. Zero dial indicator. Rock valve stem from side to side. Valve guides can be replaced if valve stem oil clearance is not within specification. See CYLINDER HEAD table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS  .
