Description & Operation

CAUTION: Legend and Vigor are equipped with Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). SRS wiring harness is routed close to instrument cluster, steering wheel and related components. All SRS wiring harnesses are covered by Yellow outer insulation. DO NOT use electrical test equipment on these circuits. Before working on steering column components, disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT Section.

WARNING: Wait about 3 minutes after disabling air bag system. An internal back-up power circuit maintains system voltage for about 3 minutes after battery is disconnected. Servicing air bag system before 3 minutes may cause accidental air bag deployment and possible personal injury.

NOTE: On Legend and Vigor, radio/cassette or radio/CD player contains anti-theft protection circuit. Whenever battery is disconnected, radio enters anti-theft mode. When battery is reconnected, radio displays CODE and will be inoperative until proper code number is entered. Obtain radio code before disconnecting battery.

All models are equipped with a 2-speed front wiper motor with intermittent feature. On some models, intermittent delay is adjustable. Integra (3-door) is equipped with rear wiper/washer system.
