Function/Mode Buttons

Either a lever or 5 buttons are used to control function motor. VENT position will permit outside air to flow through side and center vents. VENT/FLOOR position allows air to be discharged from floor ducts and dash vents.

HEAT position directs all air through heater core and discharges air from floor ducts. The HEAT/DEFROST position directs all air through heater core and discharges majority of air from floor ducts and a small amount of air through defroster ducts. The DEFROST position discharges heated air through defroster ducts. Each function button has an indicator light which should come on when button is pushed.
