Preliminary Procedure

  1. Note power seat setting, as setting will be canceled and must be reset. Ensure ignition is off.
  2. Remove No. 15 (7.5-amp) fuse from fuse-relay box, located behind kick panel on driver's side, for 10 seconds. This clears PGM-FI/AT ECU memory to ensure PGM-FI system has not turned on the "D4" light. Reinstall fuse.
  3. Reset power seat settings. Road test vehicle and recheck light operation. Perform diagnostic circuit check to ensure proper operation of "D4" light.
NOTE: Before retrieving fault codes, perform diagnostic circuit check to ensure proper operation of "D4" light if "D4" light is not blinking to indicate a problem.
