Oil Temperature Switch

Disconnect 2-pin connector and remove oil temperature switch. Switch is located on cylinder head at rear of engine, on passenger side. Suspend switch in a container with coolant. Heat coolant and check continuity across terminals of switch using an ohmmeter and thermometer. See OIL TEMPERATURE SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS table. If switch DOES NOT test as indicated, replace switch.
