Electronic Air Control Valve (EACV)

The ECU controls electrical current to EACV to maintain correct idle speed. The EACV is activated (idle speed increased) when the engine is cold and/or under engine load conditions, such as when A/C is on, transmission is in gear (A/T only), power steering oil pressure is high, or sensed voltage is low.
