Defective Front Solenoid

  1. Unplug front solenoid connectors. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between Red and Black terminals on front solenoid. If resistance is not 1-3 ohms, replace front solenoid. If resistance is correct, check resistance between Yellow and Black terminals.
  2. If resistance is not 1-3 ohms, replace front solenoid. If resistance is correct, remove rear seat back. Check for continuity between ECM and front solenoids. If any circuit shows no continuity, repair open circuit. If there is continuity in all circuits, replace ECM and retest.
