Power Steering Pump: Reassembly

  1. To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. Align plunger cut-outs before installing. See Figure . Grease all "O" rings and seals before installing.
  2. Lubricate gears and shafts with steering fluid. Install front cover. Tighten front cover bolts diagonally. Using a 19 mm socket, install seal into front cover.
