Dashpot System
- Check vacuum line for leaks, blockage or a disconnected hose. Disconnect vacuum hose from dashpot, and connect a vacuum pump to it. Apply vacuum and check that vacuum goes out slowly.
- If vacuum holds or goes out rapidly, replace dashpot check valve and re-test. Connect a vacuum pump and check that rod pulls in and vacuum holds. If vacuum does not hold or rod does not move, replace dashpot diaphragm and re-test.
