Condition 

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) AUD-0010 is stored if the audio module (AUD) registers that the signal to the microphone is too low.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) AUD-0010 can be diagnosed when the ignition is on.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable between the microphone and the control module
• Short-circuit between the signal cables to the microphone.

Fault symptom[s] 

• The microphone is not working.
