Checking components and wiring

Check the signal cable between electronic throttle module (ETM) terminal #6 and engine control module (ECM) terminal #A6 (#A6). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Check the signal cable between electronic throttle module (ETM) terminal #3 and engine control module (ECM) terminal #A43 (#A43). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.

Check the power supply to electronic throttle module (ETM) terminal #5 from engine control module (ECM) terminal #A5 (#A5). Check for a short-circuit to battery voltage.

Check the ground lead to electronic throttle module (ETM) terminal #3 from engine control module (ECM) terminal #A43 (#A43). Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. Check for an open-circuit.

Remedy as necessary.
