Intake Duct No. 1

Connect the water hose to the intake duct No. 1.

Install a new gasket (A) and O-ring (B) to the intake duct No. 1.

Set the intake duct No. 1, and install the bolt together with the hose stay.

NOTE:

As shown in the figure, allow the rotation stopper (a) of hose stay to touch the intake duct No. 1, and tighten the bolt together with the intake duct and the hose stay.

Tightening torque:

7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

Connect the vacuum hose and the water hose.

Connect the PCV pipe assembly to the intake duct No. 1, and lock it.
CAUTION:
- Make sure there are no damage or dust on connections. If necessary, clean the seal surface of the pipe.
- Confirm that the connections are secure.
NOTE:
It is possible to install with the spring locked.

Connect the air intake boot to the intake duct No. 1.
NOTE:
Align the cutout portion of the air intake boot to the protrusion on the intake duct No. 1.

Tightening torque:

2.5 N.m (0.3 kgf-m, 1.8 ft-lb)

Install the under cover front. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>FRONT UNDER COVER>INSTALLATION
Fill engine coolant. Ref. to COOLING (H4DOTC)>ENGINE COOLANT>REPLACEMENT>FILLING OF ENGINE COOLANT
