INPUT SIGNAL AND OUTPUT SIGNAL 

Major signal transmission between each unit via communication lines is shown in the following table.

Component parts Signal description
ECM Mainly transmits the following signals to chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) via CAN communication.
  • Accelerator pedal position signal
  • Engine speed signal
  • Engine torque signal
  • Estimate drive torque signal
  • Request drive torque signal
  • Request drive torque status signal
TCM Mainly transmits the following signals to chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) via CAN communication.
  • Current gear position signal
ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) Mainly transmits the following signals to chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) via CAN communication.
  • Automatic brake hold malfunction signal*
  • Automatic brake hold permission signal*
  • Automatic brake hold status signal*
  • Electric parking brake operation signal (switch)*
  • Electric parking brake status signal*
  • Electric parking brake malfunction signal*
  • Chassis control module prohibition signal*
  • TCS operation signal
  • VDC operation signal

Combination meter Mainly transmits the following signals to chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) via CAN communication.
  • Seat belt buckle switch (driver side) signal
  • Intelligent trace control setting signal

Mainly receives the following signals from chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) via CAN communication.
  • Automatic brake hold indicator lamp signal*
  • Meter display signal
BCM Mainly transmits the following signals to chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) via CAN communication.
  • Stop lamp switch signal
  • Brake pedal status signal
Electric parking brake control module* Mainly transmits the following signals to chassis control module (with built in steering angle sensor) via CAN communication.
  • Chassis control module prohibition signal
  • Automatic brake hold permission signal
  • Automatic brake hold malfunction signal
  • Automatic brake hold prohibition signal
  • Brake system warning lamp signal
  • Electric parking brake warning lamp signal
  • Electric parking brake operation signal (switch)
