ASCD Brake Switch

- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect ASCD brake switch harness connector.
- Check harness continuity between ASCD brake switch terminals 1 and 2 under the conditions listed in ASCD BRAKE SWITCH DIAGNOSTIC COMPONENT INSPECTION table.ASCD BRAKE SWITCH DIAGNOSTIC COMPONENT INSPECTION
Condition Continuity When brake pedal is fully released. Should exist. When brake pedal is slightly depressed. Should not exist. Courtesy of NISSAN MOTOR CO., U.S.A.
If NG, adjust ASCD brake switch installation, refer to BRAKE PEDAL , and perform step 3 again.
