Discharge Headlight Control Module Removal/Installation

CAUTION:

Incorrect servicing of the discharge headlight control module could result in electrical shock. Before servicing the discharge headlight control module, always refer to the "DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT SERVICE WARNINGS ." (See DISCHARGE HEADLIGHT SERVICE WARNINGS .)

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the front combination light. (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the screws A.

Disconnect the connector A.
Remove the screws B.

Disconnect the connector B.
Remove the discharge headlight control module.
Remove the cover.

Rotate the connector in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure to remove it.

Remove the short cord.

Fig 5: Identifying Short Cord
Install in the reverse order of removal.
