DTC P0113: IAT Sensor Circuit High Input: Condition
DTC is set when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects input voltage from Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is more than 4.8 volts or the difference between IAT sensor and Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is more than 32.2°C. Temperatures are measured by subtracting ECT sensor reading from IAT sensor reading. This is a continuous monitor. MIL is illuminated when PCM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:
- IAT sensor malfunction.
- ECT sensor malfunction.
- Open or short circuit between IAT sensor and PCM.
- PCM malfunction.
