Passenger-Side Air Bag Module: Removal

Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Remove 2 mounting screws positioned in glove compartment. See Fig 1 . To disconnect clockspring electrical connector, place one hand in glove compartment, pushing air bag module out enough to access connector, then disconnect connector. Remove air bag module.
