Pinpoint Test B: DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) U300D:11
- Refer to Four Wheel Drive Systems
for schematic and connector information.
Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The TCCM receives ignition switch position status from the hardwired run/start input to TCCM and the ignition switch position status message communicated by the IPC over the HS-CAN. The ignition switch position status message originates from the BCM which communicates the ignition switch position status over the MS-CAN (medium speed-controller area network). The IPC acts as a gateway module, transferring the ignition switch status message from MS-CAN to HS-CAN. For information regarding network messaging, REFER to: Communications Network .
DTC Fault Trigger Conditions
DTC Description Fault Trigger Condition TCCM U300D:11 Ignition Input On/Start: Circuit Short To Ground This DTC sets when the ignition switch position status message broadcast by the BCM over the HS-CAN does not match the hardwired run/start input circuit voltage signal at the TCCM. Possible Sources
- Fuse F13 (10A)
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- BCM
- B1 CHECK THE TCCM (TRANSFER CASE CONTROL MODULE) IGNITION CIRCUIT FUSE
- Inspect BJB Fuse 13 (10A).
Is the fuse OK?
Yes GO to B2 No REPAIR short to ground. INSTALL new fuse. - B2 CHECK THE TCCM (TRANSFER CASE CONTROL MODULE) IGNITION CIRCUIT FOR VOLTAGE
- Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect TCCM C2371A.
- Ignition ON.
- Measure:
Positive Lead Measurement / Action Negative Lead Refer to C2371A-7 Ground
Is the voltage greater than 10v?
Yes The TCCM is receiving the Ignition status. VERIFY BCM is broadcasting correct ignition status. Refer to BCM GUIDED ROUTINE Refer to No REPAIR open circuit between BJB and TCCM
