Amplifier Antenna: Installation

  1. INSTALL AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 
    1. Use non-residue solvent to clean the area on the glass where the antenna will be installed.
      NOTE: Do not use non-residue solvent to clean the antenna's contact points. Doing so may cause improper contact between the antenna and glass.
    2. Temporarily install the antenna with a new clip labeled A, and then install the antenna with the 2 nuts labeled B.

      Torque: 14 N*m (143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Just before installing the antenna to the glass, remove the protective cover of the antenna's contact points.
      • When removing the protective cover of the antenna's contact points, make sure the cover does not touch the contact points.
      • Never touch the contact points after removing the protective cover.
      • Do not reuse the clip labeled A.
    3. Attach the 4 clips labeled C.
    4. Connect the antenna connectors.

    5. Return the roof headlining to its original position, for Standard Body: Refer to the following procedures (see INSTALLATION ).

      for Long Body: Refer to the following procedures (see INSTALLATION ).

  3. INSTALL ROOF SIDE REGISTER BEZEL RH (w/ Rear Cooler)  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL ROOF SIDE REGISTER BEZEL LH (w/ Rear Cooler)  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL COAT HOOK  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL REAR VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Long Body)  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL SPOT LIGHT LENS (for Long Body)  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  11. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  14. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
    1. for Standard Body:
      1. Install the rear door scuff plate RH (see INSTALLATION ).
    2. for Long Body:
      1. Install the rear door scuff plate RH (see INSTALLATION ).
  15. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 
    1. for Standard Body:
      1. Install the rear door scuff plate LH (see INSTALLATION ).
    2. for Long Body:
      1. Install the rear door scuff plate LH (see INSTALLATION ).
  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY 
    1. for Power Seat:
      1. Install the rear seat (see INSTALLATION ).
    2. for Ottoman:
      1. Install the rear seat (see INSTALLATION ).
    3. for Fixed Seat:
      1. Install the rear seat (see INSTALLATION ).
  17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  18. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  19. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
  20. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
